Are you struggling to stay motivated recently? Is the thought of staying healthy sickening and 'unrealistic' to you at the moment?
I am here to help! I've gathered together a few of my favourite fitness motivation quotes I've found on google images to share in hope that they'll make you feel a tiny bit more motivated.

STYLE - Kim Kardashian

January 28, 2015

Happy Wednesday!

Today let us talk about the Kim K, the Kardashian queen, the selfie master etc etc. KIM KARDASHIAN

First of all, what do you think of Kimmie's style? I have mixed opinions, but that's what's great about fashion; it gives you an opportunity to be unique and express yourself.

If you haven't heard of Kim, where the heck have you been? I've decided to talk about one of my FAVE of her recent outfits.

Google images
I am very much aware that this outfit won't be to everyone's taste, but I think it really suits Kim.

Kim has a curvy figures and this dress really does show them off, but I don't find it's too in your face.
I think the royal blue type colour really suits her and brings more attention rather than just being in black (even though you can't really go wrong with black!). I also love her open heels (although I'm not someone who is keen on showing off toes!) and the simplicity of a simple gold chain.

What do you think of Kim's style? Yay? Ish? or Nay?
Personally, I know I wouldn't wear the same outfits as Kim, but that's because style is personal and I have my own idea of fashionable.

See you Friday!

My hair.

January 25, 2015

Today's post is all about my hair.

I thought I'd share with you the products I use on my hair on a day to day/weekly basis whilst also incorporating a few too many pictures of my hair (I was having fun taking the photos -sorry!) Oh and also sorry that I'm wearing a JLS hoodie with PJ bottoms (they're comfy! hehe!)
In the photos my hair hasn't been styled, no heat has been used on it and it was washed the night before.

The only brush I use on my hair is the tangle teezer ( see post/review : here!! )

Shampoo & Conditioner - Alberto Balsam (sun kissed raspberry). - Absolutely loving these recently! They smell amazing and leave my hair feeling so soft.

Serum - L'OREAL PARIS Elvive (Smooth & Polish Aqua Serum) - I've spoken about my love for the Elvive range before and this product does not fail to impress. I apply it to damp (not soaking hair) and it gives it a very silky feel.

Hairspray - Mark Hill (Make me shine - Fabulous Finish) - I use this to finish off my look. It holds my hair in place well and is not too sticky!

Tangle Spray - L'OREAL KIDS (Sweet Pear) - I've also mentioned my love for this product. It's brilliant! I apply when I feel that my hair is getting tangley!

Dry Shampoo - Batiste [of course!] - I use when I'm having a lazy day and I want to give my hair a bit of life. Brilliant!

Slightly serious Eve! hehe!

F4F#26 - You ARE Allowed To Treat Yourself!

January 23, 2015

Well hello everyone!

A very Happy Friday to you!

January is the first month of a brand new year and for many means a new healthy living chapter. Being healthy and maintaining a healthy diet is very important and is the largest factor is weight loss, but don't think you should skip meals to lose weight and don't think that being 'healthy' means never eating a tub of Ben & Jerry's.

I just had a scrummy piece of homemade bread with jam and butter - it was heaven! It got me thinking, why is it we OVER worry about what we're eating?

I think it's important that you do give yourself a little treat now and again, it won't make you "fat" or make you unhealthy. Enjoying things is a big thing in being a healthy person, so if having a few chunks of dairy milk gives you a bit of a pick me up, go for it!

The key to enjoying your food is don't over eat, don't under eat and have things in moderation. Enjoy your food and appreciate the food you're given.

You are all brilliant and strong - remember that!

Have an amazing weekend,

Getting Into Routine - Haia Eve

January 22, 2015

Well hello everyone!

How are you all? How is everyone's week going?

I have decided to write this post to explain the new post schedule for HaiaEve. You may already know of this change if you follow me on twitter (@haiaeve ).
Basically, I'm someone who likes to have a plan and always needs to be organised. Having a schedule will not only benefit me (as I'll know what and when I'm posting), but will benefit readers as you'll know when to check back for your favourite type of post.

Recently, I've been doing a lot of thinking. I've decided that I need to have a balance of content I myself love writing while also making popular content that my readers enjoy.

I've also realised that posting every other day is too hard at the minute (I have lots of work and need some down time) so this schedule will fit these needs.

Remember: I won't always stick to the schedule and there could sometimes be extra posts during the week too.

HaiaEve's 23rd of January 2015 onwards schedule:

SUNDAY - Lifestyle / Beauty
WEDNESDAY - Fashion
FRIDAY - Health / Fitness (F4F)

Lifestyle: I love a good lifestyle post and I think it's very important to share a little about your life with readers. Possible posts: A day in the life, Reviews of places I visited, Life advice, Chatty posts, Life updates etc.

Beauty: These posts are very popular. I'm not a big expert, but do love to use some nice smellies etc. You can expect: Reviews, Wish lists, Empties, Hauls etc.

Fashion: I love fashion and these are also popular posts. In this series expect: OOTD, Look books, Hauls, Wish lists, 'Style Crush' etc.

Health / Fitness: Fit4Friday (or F4F) will continue as usual. It's a series full of healthy recipes, motivation, advice, outfits, workout ideas etc.

I hope you're looking forward to the schedule, make sure you give me any ideas you may have; what type of posts you enjoy etc.

See you tomorrow!
Love,
Eve xx

FASHION FAVOURITE - Vanessa Villante

January 20, 2015

For today's post I want to discuss with you one on my favourite ever tv soap characters/style inspiration, Vanessa Villante (Alin Sumarwata).

Vanessa who is a previous (and returning - eek, so excited!) character on Australian soap opera Neighbours, is a big lover of unique and retro designs.

Above, you'll see two great examples of her style.
Firstly, her wedding dress. Oh My Goodness!! LOVE! It's so 1950s and very pretty. When I first saw her wearing it I instantly fell in love.
The second example is her sporting one of the many colourful and pretty dresses she wore on the show, I do like this one, but there were some she wore that were even prettier (sadly, I couldn't find many good photos).

I would always wonder what wonderful outfit Vanessa would be wearing each episode as I absolutely adore her individual pieces (I'd love to have a snoop through her wardrobe!) and can I mention, I do love her hair too!

I'm really looking forward to seeing her and Lucas (with many other brilliant characters) come together for the Neighbours 30th anniversary in March - It's going to be great!

Thanks for reading!

Sunday - catch up.

January 18, 2015

Hi everyone.

Today's post is a very casual one. I'm working hard in trying to put together some good quality posts for you ready for the next few weeks, but really fancied a more 'chatty' post today. Sorry if this type of post isn't your cup of tea, Oooh! A cup of tea would be perfect right now....

Okay, so I have my cuppa beside me now and am ready for a good old chin wag. Are you sitting comfortably?

Photo Tumblr - click here :) (I do not own)
First of all, Let's talk tv.
I've been loving the new series of Broadchurch. I've heard it hasn't had brilliant reviews (which I genuinely don't understand), but it has made my Mondays just that little bit better.
Next, Death In Paradise. This show is hilarious! It's a good mixture of comedy and mystery. For goodness sake when is Camille going to realise that he fancies her and that she loves him and they'll solve crimes happily ever after?
The Voice - Okay I miss Kylie, but that's because I have had a soft spot for her since I was a little girl, but I'm finding this new series more entertaining, anyone agree?

I love Olly Murs and Demi Lovato's new single (Up). I think it's my favourite song from him. They're amazing together. *sings*: 'I drew a broken heart...'

I just watched Bridget Jones's Diary for the first time. It was very good. Colin Firth was especially brilliant. Colin Firth or Hugh Grant? Colin!!

I was thrilled to hit 250 bloglovin' followers the other day. Thanks! I have been losing followers recently - I am trying my very best to get good content up for you all. I'm loving fitness posts, fashion & beauty at the minute.

I am feeling a lot more relaxed at the minute despite the coarse work beginning to load up a little, but we'll get through it.

I must say, Sunday is possibly one of my favourite days (also Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday - Sorry Tuesday!) it's quite a productive day, while also being refreshing and relaxing. Do you like a Sunday?

So, I'm coming to the end of my cup of tea (it has been a lovely one too). There's something special about a cup of tea. They make me feel so at ease and relaxed. What's your favourite tea? Or don't you like tea? (is it possible to dislike tea?)

Thanks for stopping by, I've enjoyed your company!

Sorry for the ramble!

See you soon!

Love,
Eve xx

F4F#25 - USA PRO #joinourmovement

January 16, 2015

Hello everyone!

A very happy Friday to you all, I am looking forward to having a chilled out weekend!

Today, for the 25th (yes, 1/4 of 100) Fit4Friday I'm going to be discussing a new range of wear that I'm very excited about and it's from USA Pro.

As you may know from previous F4Fs I absolutely love USA Pro for sports wear as the quality and designs of the items are just brilliant.

The new range (you may have seen advertised on the TV recently) is under the title 'Join Our Movement' and the new designs are possibly my FAVOURITE EVER from the brand.

Let's have a look...

As you can probably tell, they've incorporated some vibrant colours and funky designs to make exercising just that little bit more exciting.

My favourite is definitely the first one as I love the pink, purple and blue tones and think it would look very pretty incorporated into a workout outfit. But, I do love the other two designs. I love the tropical, quirky colours in the second which would make your look much happier and brighter. I'm also a massive fan of the black design as black is a very handy colour to have and I do love the floral designs that's been incorporated into the items to add just that little more detail.

I am definitely considering purchasing one or two (maybe more?) of these pieces as they're just so individual!

If you're tempted, the following link will take you to the range: click here

The line is also available at Sports Direct

Which piece is your favourite?

Have a lovely weekend!

Eve xx

A Perfume Favourite - Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy

January 13, 2015

This perfume gives me major nostalgic feelings. It was one of my first ever perfumes and honestly I didn't appreciate when I first had it just how amazing it is!

I picked up the perfume as a little treat for myself after Christmas to "start the new year right" while smelling good. Oh boy I'm glad I did! It cost me just over £10 (amazing!) and I have no regrets over the purchase (despite being a little disappointed with the size of the 30ml bottle at first! Small is cute though!)

First of all, I must warn you: I'm not the best at describing perfumes, to be honest, I'm pathetic at it. I'm going to give it a go though!

When smelling the perfume, fruity and sweet is what first springs to mind, but if I really think about it, there is a floral and vanilla scent to it too.
It's a scent that is evident and gains me compliments often. It isn't too over powering.

I love to wear it in the day as it brings back many happy memories, but it would be a perfect "date night" scent.

Is it just me or does Britney have some of the best celeb perfumes?

What's your favourite perfume?

Healthy & Happy

January 10, 2015

Haia!

Firstly, apologies that there wasn't a F4F yesterday- I was so tired!
Secondly, I have decided that I'm going to be doing more fashion & beauty posts along with fitness/health posts on this blog.

Now that I've got those announcements and stuff out the way, I'd like to say a massive thanks, I am so close to 250 bloglovin followers - which is a massive thing for me, so I really appreciate that you guys follow!

Today I wanted to discuss how much my life has changed in the space of a year and how I feel so much more happy and healthy for it. I know that some of you readers don't really enjoy this type of post, but I feel that sometimes it's good to share positive vibes, so that's what I'm doing.

I have said a million times how much my happier I feel in myself now compared to 2013 and I hate to go on and on about it, but I think sometimes it's nice for me myself to reflect on the positive things that have happened.

I eat a lot more of things I enjoy these days (obviously in moderation) before, I used to worry too much about putting on weight, so I'd constantly be too cautious. I find it's so important to have a healthy relationship with food. Fuel yourself with good energy.
I feel so happy that I have such incredible people in my life, without them I wouldn't be half as happy. I don't rely on people to make me feel happy, but I'm a people person and some people have had such positive influences on me that has lead to me feeling so happy.
Exercise has been brilliant. It's helped me socially (I've met some brilliant, lovely people), mentally and physically.
I think learning to accept myself was a hard thing. Realising that I am who I am. Some people are going to like me and some aren't. You have to accept yourself and feel happy with yourself, it's incredibly important.
Blogging has given me an opportunity to get my thoughts out and to express myself. It's been a great place for me to communicate, learn and share.
A major thing: not everything goes perfectly. You're going to mess up sometimes. Just try your best.

Thanks for reading.

Have a lovely weekend.

Eve xx

Oh life - "Blue Peter" photo shoots

January 07, 2015

I was browsing through some old snaps on my computer today and came across some real gems.

You may or may not know, I used to really want to be a Blue Peter presenter, truthfully I still do. Anyway, this was during the early Helen Skelton time. I had my own studio, I use to "record" my own shows, do my own challenges, make my own annuals and hold my own photo shoots. I thought since we're all friends now that I'd share some snaps with you. Don't laugh!

I hope you liked these little snippets into my top secret photo shoots! hehe!

Pretty Little Liars Style Steal!

January 05, 2015

I love PLL. To celebrate the launch of season 5B on Tuesday, I thought I'd do a style steal post where I share with you QUITE SIMILAR items that the girls were seen wearing in early season 5. The places to find the items are noted below each piece of clothing.

A lot of time and effort went into researching and putting together these looks, so I hope you find it helpful!

Have a Brillant Year

January 04, 2015

It's Sunday. This means today is the final day of my Chrimbo holidays. I get back to my normal routine tomorrow. I've been dreading tomorrow for a few reasons for the past few days, which got me thinking; what's the point in dreading it? Tomorrow has the potential to be a brilliant day if I make it brilliant.

This lead to me thinking up the idea of this post. I mean, a lot of us get a little sad at the end of Christmas as it seems that there's a long road ahead full of work and stress etc. when really we're not thinking of the potential that the year holds. Why not make this year a brilliant year? Or as good as you can make it?

Google images.

Here are some of my ideas...

1. Start fresh.
Stop dwelling on the past. It's time to learn from the ups and downs of 2014 and move on with your head held high. What's the point of holding onto the bad that happened last year? I mean, how are you supposed to move forward and be happier if you're still worrying over it?
A new year is brilliant because it's like a blank canvas and you have the ability to "paint" a beautiful year full of amazing opportunities, memories and people.

2. Remove the negative people.
Has someone been having a negative influence on your life recently? Or has been leaving you feeling utterly rubbish? I think it's time you move on. Whether their behaviour is unintentional (believe me this often occurs) it's time you start thinking about you. Fill your life with people who make you feel happy and good about yourself.
Sadly, sometimes people grow apart, it happens and it's very hard to accept, but you have to learn to move on.

3. Stay on top of things.
This is easier said than done. It's so easy to put a piece of work off for days and days. The problem with that is it all starts to pile up. Get it done and you'll feel better.
It's the same with cleaning your room. Pick up those dirty clothes and put away the fresh clothes otherwise before you know it you'll have piles of dirty washing and piles of clothes to put away.

4. Don't worry.
A lot of the time worrying is a waste of energy. What does worrying do? Well, makes you feel stressed, anxious and upset. Does it solve anything? Nope.
As hard as it can be to just 'chill' sometimes, you need to.
That exam that 'went so bad' is in the past now. You can't change your answers. If worse comes to worse, just re-sit.

5. Stay Healthy.
We all feel better after a little exercise and a healthy meal. Staying healthy food wise and fit will not only benefit you physically, but also mentally.

6. Find yourself something you love doing.
This could be watching your favourite tv show, listening to your favourite song, eating your favourite food, having a cup of tea, going shopping, going to the gym etc. Doing your favourite thing when you're feeling a little low can make you feel SO much better!

7. Do your best.
That's all you can do. Whether it be with school work, a job or even keeping to a blogging schedule. Just try your best, that's all anyone can ask of you.

8. Enjoy.
Life is too short to be wasted doing anything, but enjoying. Obviously, work hard, but make sure you give yourself some down time and some enjoyment time. Do things you love with people you love.

9. Know when to say NO.
You don't have to always do tasks for people because they can't be bothered to do it themselves or they're just using you for personal gain. If you really don't want to do something, speak up and say no. It's hard, but you'll feel better. Don't let people take advantage of you.

10. ...and say YES too.
When you want to do something, but it intimidates you or you're unsure of whether you'll be able to do it- just go for it! It could end up being amazing! Don't build up a wall of fear and self doubt, make this a year where you shine as a person.
Carpe Diem! (Seize the day!)

What are your personal goals for 2015?

F4F#24 - Fitness Haul!

January 02, 2015

Ello, Ello, Ello!

A hugely warm welcome to the first F4F of 2015. It's ridiculous isn't it! I haven't posted a single F4F since LAST year! (I find myself hilarious clearly!)

Today's F4F is going to be a little haul. I received some lovely fitness pieces for Christmas (it's still acceptable to say the 'C' word, isn't it?) and thought I'd share them with you.

The tops

I received four fabulous workout tops (one I forgot to include in the photo!:( ) . I love a nice exercise top because they're so handy!

The Zumba fitness top.
This is my favourite. I adore the bright, vibrant colour of this top. I've already worn it and it was very comfortable.

The F&F racer backs.
So Tesco has a pretty fancy fitness line now! I cannot wait to give these two a shot! I am especially excited to try out the grey/black fancy print one! Wait a go Tesco!

(Not in photo) - Pinapple dance top
Although I forgot to picture it (I can't believe I forgot!) I am very excited to wear this top- it's so me! (I'll share a photo in the future - perhaps a fitness LookBook?) I've tried a few Pinapple fitness bits and love them!

The sports bras.
Essential to a girl. (hope this isn't TMI)

M&S sports bra (pink & grey)
I mentioned the M&S sports bra in my 2014 favourites and was overjoyed to receive another one for Christmas as they're my favourite sports bras I've tried! Love this colour too!

XPG by Jenni Falconer Run Bra
First, the colour! I love it! I was watching a holiday show the over day and realised who Jenni Falconer was, good on your girl - you've brought out a good sports bra! (not that she'd read this post!)  I tried this the other day and it was amazing! Really held "them" well.

Debenhams shaper bra
Okay, I'm aware it's not necessarily a sports bra, but it has a good support and has the same shape of a sports bra. I'm looking forward to giving it a go!

Ilovesia fitness bottoms
These are absolutely fantastic - I wore them the other day and they were so comfortable! I adore the pink stripe that gives it a more girly look and adore the fact it has pockets for you phone/gym key/ipod etc.

the fitness book
Perhaps my favourite of all items. I have been wanting this book for AGES! I want to do some sort of fitness instructor based job in the next few years and this book includes some great exercises and stretches!

Happy Weekend all!

Eve xx

Haia Eve in 2015

January 01, 2015

Hello everyone. Welcome to Haia Eve in 2015.

As you probably can tell, I've changed my font. I wanted to go down a new, fresh route in 2015. Change things up a bit.

I want to change a few things this year on Haia Eve.

I'd love to change the layout of my blog, although I previously tried doing this (on my own) and ended up trying for about 5 hours and getting absolutely no where in progress.

I really want to work out what it is that you readers enjoy reading on my blog. (please give me a comment) Do you like the beauty, the fashion, the fitness, the advice, the chats, the reviews, the lifestyle posts or my little quote type posts? I'd love to know.

I hope to put more time and effort into presenting great content on my blog this year as in the past, I've lacked in some areas, but of course that's what you learn from ey?

If you hate this font and prefer my other, let me know! I may end up reverting back to my previous font. I'm not too sure how I feel about this one.

Watch out for a F4F fitness haul tomorrow!

Wishing you a happy new year!

Love,
Eve xx
