Hello everyone.
I am so sorry for my blog being of poor standard recently. I have had a lot on my plate these past weeks and I've been left feeling exhausted. I will be aiming to up my game, but I can't make any promises to how often I'll post (I'm trying to make sure there is a new post every Friday though!)
I really wanted to do a post about becoming a gym instructor etc as I feel maybe some of you are interested (perhaps not?) haha. If you didn't already know, I am studying to become a gym instructor at the moment. It is a lot of work, but it is something I am incredibly passionate about so with the goal in mind I am working to achieve it.
The course consists of course work, two theory exams and a practical exam. The course takes place online through an E-learning pathway and over two face-to-face learning weekends (this is when the exams take place too). The course cost £450 to enrol in; this may sound very expensive, but it's okay compared to other prices. The company sent me all my materials (books, e-learning password etc) via email so it's very convenient in that way and can be completed in your own time (I have done mine in about 6 weeks). I will (fingers crossed) be completing the course mid August (if all goes well) which is very exciting.
Do I feel confident? Not as confident as I'd like to feel, but I'm getting there. There is a lot to take in and it can be at times very overwhelming, but I'm doing my best to keep a clear and positive mind about it all. Although I have my doubts (will I pass?) I am really enjoying doing the course and I will be sure to do a follow up post afterwards to let you know it all went and with more details about it.

Hi everyone,
Today I wanted to let you know that you can do it. It is very easy to be put off by a challenge, but with the attitude of just giving it a go, you can do it.
I never used to like anything sporty/active AT ALL. When I tell people this these days they just stare at me with disbelief because keeping fit is something I love. I love exercise.
When I was younger the only times I really wanted to get off my sofa and do something was when I'd watch Helen Skelton taking on some kind of crazy, amazing Blue Peter challenge. I thought to myself 'I could do something like that', but always doubted my abilities as far as physicality goes.
I remember my mum having to convince me to attend my first Zumba class. I did not want to go. I thought I'd be rubbish at it and that it would be awkward/embarrassing. I was wrong. Over a year and a half later and here I am, about to train to become a Zumba instructor (this Sunday). EEEEK!
What I'm saying is: you don't know until you try. Be brave and give it a go. You might end up hating it and never doing it again OR you may just end up loving it.
If you don't give things a go or challenge yourself you won't get anywhere. You have to take the plunge and do it, otherwise you won't improve. Progression leads to success.
Haia friends!
How are we all today? I hope you're all nodding and saying 'good', but if not I hope that you'll feel better soon.
Today I'm doing a post all about confidence because having confidence is something that is incredibly important. Obviously it's not good to be a cocky big headed person, but it's also not good to have a low self-esteem either. Confidence is something I have really struggled with, but I can finally say that I do feel somewhat confident in myself. If you googled 'how to be more confident' there would be so many different tips on gaining confidence because everyones take and journey to confidence can be completely different.
1. Speak to new people - meeting and communicating with new, different people is fabulous in gaining confidence as you are put out of your comfort zone of just communicating with your regular company. It is a fabulous way to feel as if you have the ability to meet new people and get on with people by just being yourself.
2. Find something you enjoy and are good at - if you have a hobby you enjoy and feel as if you have a talent at, do it and praise yourself for achieving at it. This could mean setting up a blog (which will also help with tip one as you'll get the opportunity to talk to fellow bloggers). Having something you feel good when doing will make you feel like you are good at things and will give you more confidence when trying new things too.
3. Present yourself well (clothes and smile) - if you dress in clothes you like then you'll feel much more relaxed and more confident in yourself. REMEMBER TO SMILE TOO - a smile is contagious, really makes you look confident in yourself and can really trick you into feeling confident too. Get that beautiful smile out!
4. Don't over think - You can often over think things, which can lead to you beginning to doubt yourself. Don't over think it - just do it!
5. What's the worst that could happen? - Following on from the last point, I think people lack confidence when they make up 'what if?' scenarios, 'what if people think I look ugly?' 'what if I look silly?' 'what if I mess up?' . For the majority of times these 'what ifs' don't even exist and you need to just get on with it, feel good about it and have belief in yourself.
Hi everyone,
Today's Fit4Friday is going to be different to the regular ones as today I just wanted to chat with you all.
I hate to say it, but recently I've been feeling a bit 'mehh' about blogging. I have considered on several occasions just giving up on my little blog because I feel as if I've hit a brick wall. I haven't gained any followers, I'm not getting many comments and I just don't know what to post about.
On Monday, I started a 'week of happiness' series which was supposed to be 5 blog posts on happy feelings, but ended up as being just two. The reason for this is, I spent so much time putting those posts together and they didn't seem to be of interest to readers. It has been hugely frustrating for me trying my very best to put posts up of quality when it seems my readership is slowly decreasing.
I have had to take a step back and think 'where do I want to go from here?' It hit me that I need to post when I can and about what I want. I have to stop pressurising myself to post three times a week and just do what I can. I have decided that my biggest passion is fitness and living a healthy lifestyle, so I'm now going to call the blog a fitness and healthy lifestyle blog (there will still be the occasional beauty post here and there). I am really learning a lot about fitness and health as I am training to become a fitness instructor and I think it will really aid me in putting up informative and hopefully interesting posts in the future.
I am aiming to continue posting this Fit4Friday series as they are my favourite posts to write about and I believe that we should all do things that we enjoy and have a passion for. I want my blog to be written to it's best quality and I really want to be enthusiastic about it, so I believe that changing it up a bit and putting less pressure on myself will do just that.

We are lucky to be able to make our own decisions everyday. We are lucky to have people around us who are great. We are lucky to have the strength to move, to walk, to sing, to dance.

Hi everyone!!
Today's post is a quick one. I've really been getting back into blogging this week and have been really enjoying putting together some positive thought posts, so I thought 'why not do a mini happiness/advice/positivity/feel good series?' So I am. It's starting THIS Monday and will run until Friday (a feel good F4F post!) I hope you'll like this mini series.
See you tomorrow in a new beauty post and then on Monday for the beginning of the 'week of happiness' series.

I have been really brain storming Fit4Friday possible topics recently and I realised I had never done a post that gives lots of different forms of exercise to do. I always used to struggle with finding the most enjoyable exercise for me, it took me a few years to actually enjoy exercise, but truthfully I didn't know there was so much out there to offer. Everyone is different and therefore will enjoy different exercise. Here is a list of 20 different exercises:

I have been really struggling for post ideas recently because quite honestly I've had no idea about where I've wanted to go with my blog. After a bit of thinking I've decided that my biggest interest is health and fitness, so the main theme of my blog will be that. You can expect to still see beauty posts and the odd fashion post now and again, but my main focus on here will be health and fitness, which includes happiness and positivity posts.
Today's post is going to be me sharing 5 things that I've appreciated about my day today.

1. I know some good people - I spoke to someone who is very important to me on a few occasions today about different things and it made me realise how lucky I am to be able to know people like that and how happy I feel in their company.
2. Lunch - I ate my lunch out today instead of at home and honestly it was so lovely to just sit back and enjoy eating my lunch in a different environment.
3. The ability to be able to push myself - I am taking on a few personal challenges recently which will hopefully lead to brilliant things. I am so grateful to be able to take on things like that, because they are so fulfilling.
4. Walking - I love being able to walk. It really gives me the opportunity to think and enjoy nature (wow I sound cheesy). Despite the humidity of today turning me into a sweaty betty, I did really appreciated my walk.
5. Pretty Little Liars - Perhaps some wouldn't think it's appropriate to be grateful for a show, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed being able to sit down and relax watching one of my favourite shows. It's such a lovely thing for me to do.
